The Margin
Most elections are closer than you think.
In 2022, control of the House came down to about 6,670 votes across five districts.

Case in point: Lauren Boebert kept her seat by 546 votes. 166,000 registered voters in her district stayed home.
The votes to win are already out there. They just need a nudge. Your postcards do that.
The Method
You don't have to change anyone's mind.
Our whole strategy rests on one insight: millions of progressives vote in presidential elections — and skip the midterms. Roughly 50 million voters who show up for presidential elections stay home in midterms.
They already agree with you. They just need a nudge.
Across 125 randomized experiments, voter mail lifts turnout about 1.3 points. A 1-point nudge sounds small — until you remember a seat in Congress was kept by 546 votes.

Who will I be writing to?
Critical voters in swing states: progressive-leaning people who vote in presidential years but skip the midterms. You're not arguing with strangers — you're reminding people who already share your values to show up.
How do you have voters' addresses?
Voter registration lists are public records, available to campaigns and organizations that do voter outreach. We curate ours down to the voters where a nudge matters most. Your kit includes names and mailing addresses only — no phone numbers, no emails — and each voter is matched to one writer, once.
What do I write?
We include suggested messages and tips. Most people write one warm personal line and sign a first name. No essays, no persuasion, no perfect handwriting required. The more personal the contact, the more it counts — that's why handwriting beats a form letter.
When should I mail my cards?
Write whenever you like — we suggest mailing so your cards land in the final two weeks before November 3, when the reminder counts most. Guidance comes in the kit.
Where does my money go?
This is a community-funded campaign. Your contribution covers your kit and powers the voter lists, the coordination, and reaching more voters.
